You choose destinations and the number of guests, we check airspace and the weather window. For sites over private land or inside a national park we tell you which altitude we may fly.

02 · QUOTE AND DATE

You receive a binding quote, usually on the next business day. You only book once date and price are set – with a fixed date or as a voucher without one.

03 · FLIGHT DAY

30 minutes before departure in Taufkirchen, parking at the hangar, safety briefing. Then headsets on: you hear what the pilot says to air traffic control.

Indicative prices are for the whole helicopter, an Airbus H125 carrying up to 5 guests, including VAT – not per person. Flight times in the planner are calculated from distance, cruising speed and one photo circle over each destination; weather, airspace and air traffic control can change the route. The price becomes binding with our quote, usually within one business day.

We fly the Airbus H125, operated by our partner with a commercial air operator certificate. Our pilots fly the Alps professionally – one of them is a flight instructor and trains helicopter pilots himself.

WE SAY IN ADVANCE WHAT WORKS

A destination inside a national park, a landing on a meadow, a flight in low cloud: whatever is not possible we settle in the quote – not on the day of the flight.

Frequently asked questions

What does a helicopter sightseeing flight cost?

A private scenic flight from Taufkirchen starts at 1,495 € for 30 minutes – for the whole helicopter, not per person. Seventy minutes cost 2,995 €, ninety minutes 3,695 €. The planner turns your route straight into an indicative price. Our fixed scenic flights, where you share the aircraft, start at 299 € per person.

How many people can come along?

Up to five guests fly in one aircraft. The seat next to the pilot is one of them and can be reserved in advance. For larger groups we fly several rounds in sequence – at company events up to 40 guests in one day.

Can I fly over my own house?

Yes, and it is one of the most frequent wishes. We need the address, then we check airspace and the minimum altitude that applies. Over built-up areas the minimum is higher than over open country – you will recognise your house either way, and we fly the circle so that you have time for a photo.

What happens in bad weather?

We fly under visual flight rules. In low cloud, thunderstorms or strong winds we move the flight to a new date free of charge. The decision is made on the day, not days before – in Bavaria the situation often changes within hours.

How soon can we fly?

With good weather and a free helicopter, within a few days. A reliably planned date needs about two weeks. For a gift without a fixed day, take a voucher – valid for three years.

Where do the flights depart from?

From Taufkirchen airfield, Willy-Messerschmitt-Strasse 1, 82024 Taufkirchen – southeast of Munich, 15 minutes from the city limits, free parking at the hangar. Pick-up elsewhere is possible; the positioning time is then included in the indicative price.
