The helicopter flight with the speedy Italian woman began early in the morning from Taufkirchen-Ottobrunn. The heliport is located just a few minutes south/east of Munich.
The flight time to Milan was a sporty 90 minutes. The dry weather provided clear visibility, making the flight almost a breeze.
Helicopter flight over four countries in 90 minutes
The route took them over Lake Starnberg, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Zugspitze, Innsbruck, Samedan, the Maloja Pass, and Lake Como before landing at Milano Bresso Airport. The same route from Munich to Milan takes just under six hours by car.
Takeoff in Germany via Austria and Switzerland & landing in Italy.
Highlight - Flight over Lake Como
Lake Como is striking from the air with its deep blue color and the numerous historic villas along its shores. Also visible from the air are the Villa del Balbianello, famous as a filming location for numerous films, and Villa Carlotta, surrounded by an impressive botanical garden.
A few minutes further, we passed Menaggio and Bellagio. Bellagio is located on a peninsula and is famous for its narrow streets and luxurious, high-priced hotels. From above, views of the winding lakeside streets and hidden coves offer a taste of the Italian lifestyle to come!
The Agusta A109 – Fast and comfortable
The Westland Agusta offers space for up to six passengers. It is a fast and comfortable helicopter, ideal for exclusive travel. Its retractable landing gear allows it to exceed the cruising speed of many conventional helicopters. Anyone who wants to rent an Agusta A109 to reach Milan by helicopter benefits from a fast and, above all, luxurious alternative to a car.
Milan – style and Italian lifestyle
After landing in Milano Bresso, we couldn't resist the temptation and headed into the city center of Milan. Of course, we also had the obligatory espresso on Piazza del Duomo!
A flight with Agusta to Milan is a fast and comfortable way to travel and at the same time an aviation experience.
